This department, as well as our entire organization, places our patients’ privacy and confidentiality in the highest regard. We will work cooperatively with local and state media to provide the public with newsworthy information while ensuring that the basic rights of each patient are adequately protects.

In addition to coordinating media queries and sending information releases out to the media, the P.R. Department also:

Implements all NMH marketing communications, including Press Releases;
Works with NMH providers, staff, volunteers, departments and community businesses on projects that will contribute to the health and wellness of our communities;
Strives to present a positive image for NMH through advertising, publicity, promotions, community events, and internal communications;
Conducts patient satisfaction surveys to afford NMH opportunities to continually improve the quality of health care we provide;
Publishes Hospital printed materials;
Coordinates donation and sponsorship requests;
Works with local schools for school-to-career opportunities to encourage young people to consider health care as a career;
Coordinates health, wellness and safety fairs and displays.

The Public Relations Department is located on the Third Floor of Northern Montana Hospital. It is open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
