NMH provides a full service Mammography Department!

NMH provides a full service mammography department. The department provides screening as well as diagnostic exams utilizing a Full Field Digital LoRad Hologic unit installed September 2007. We provide stereotactic breast biopsy and needle-wire placement for surgical guidance utilizing a LoRad Hologic Digital Stereotactic Breast Biopsy unit in conjunction with a Suros ATEC biopsy and excision system that was installed in October 2007. With two Radiologists on staff as well as a full time Pathologist, exams are normally scheduled at the patients convenience. We complete approximately 3,500 exams of all breast imaging modalities annually.
