Purpose: To complete the following duties in a timely and complete manner in order to have efficient flow in the MR Department.

 

(Education, License / Registration, Experience, Knowledge and Abilities)

1. Must be a certified ART or CCS.
2. ICD-9-CM and CPT-4 coding experience
3. Training in office procedures to include typing, computer applications, basic record keeping.
4. Working knowledge of medical terminology.
5. Must understand the confidential nature of health care information.
