Northern Montana Hospital is a 49-bed acute care facility which offers Med-Surg rooms, six (6) ICU/CCU beds, 5 LDRP rooms and Level III 24 hour ER coverage. A 120 bed long-term care facility, with all private rooms, is adjacent to Northern Montana Health Care. You will enjoy working with providers in specialties that include Psychiatry, Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Radiology, OB/GYN, Orthopedic and General Surgery, Anesthesia, Podiatry and Pathology, as well as Ophthalmology and Optometry. Physicians Assistants and Nurse Practitioners complement the providers.
Student loan forgiveness may be available through the National Health Service Corps and the State of Montana Incentive program.

This is a full-time hospital employed position (Board Certified or eligible in Family Medicine). The physician is required to work at least two five day eight hour shifts starting Thursday through Monday providing direct inpatient care. Along with providing Hospitalist duties, the physician would be required to work two to three Emergency Medicine 24 hour shifts per month. Schedules are completed two to three months in advance. Must have experience working in an Emergency Department and inpatient hospital setting, must be certified in ACLS/ATLS/PALS. Malpractice coverage is provided by the organization plus employee benefits (health, life, dental, disability, retirement benefitsand paid relocation. This is a full-time hospital employed position. The physician is responsible for providing pathology expertise and diagnostic evaluations for our medical team. Must be Board Certified or Eligible, obtain a Montana license and experience in anatomical and clinical pathology. Family Practice Physician
This is a full-time hospital employed position who will be working in a clinic practice, attractive two year salary guarantee with subsequent generous productivity based compensation . With the first and second year salary guarantee, physicians may move to production as soon as desired. Nurse Practitioner-Pain Medicine
The Pain Medicine Nurse Practitioner (NP) will plan, direct and manage the clinical activities of the Outpatient Pain Management Service. The NP will work in conjunction with the Pain Management Team to provide an advanced level of care to patients undergoing pain medicine therapies. Specialty care provided includes initial and follow-up assessments/evaluations, prescribing protocol medications/management modalities and ordering follow-up services. The NP will provide pain management education and leads policy and procedure development for this targeted population. The NP will monitor patient outcomes and initiates/participates in quality improvement activities.
