Dr. Kirby received an undergraduate degree at Western Michigan University of Kalamazoo, Michigan, as well as a Master of Arts in Counseling and Psychology. Later, she earned another Master of Arts and also a Doctorate of Psychology at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology, Chicago, Illinois.
