Cardio Pulmonary Rehabilitation & Exercise for a Healthy Heart and Lungs
NORTHERN MONTANA CARDIOPULMONARY REHABILITATION
At Northern Montana Hospital, the Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Program has been operational since 1990. Its customers include, but are not limited to, people who have cardiac and pulmonary health concerns. Patients remain under the doctor's care during their time in our program. Along with friendly faces and professional supervision in all programs, we offer:

- Body fat analysis

Cardiac and pulmonary Phase II-Recovery and Progression
Patients recovering from certain heart conditions come to us through physician referral. Patients are exercised in a safe environment which includes ECG, blood pressure, heart rate, symptom monitoring, and education for a healthy diet, lifestyle changes, medications, laboratory results, and stress reduction. The emphasis for pulmonary rehabilitation is on disease management and breathing techniques. Our staff is a registered nurse and clinical exercise specialists (also a respiratory therapist for the pulmonary patients).
Phase III-Prevention and Maintenance $41.70 per month
Graduates of the Phase II programs participate in this 3-days-a-week program. This phase includes a wide range of personalized exercise plans for people who are referred by their physicians for a myriad of reasons, such as diabetes, weight loss, conditioning, pre-surgery conditioning, and stress relief. Our staff is clinical exercise specialists and a registered nurse.
Phase IV-Prevention and Maintenance $58.50 per month
This maintenance program is designed to allow our patients to continue in their quest for a healthier lifestyle and to maximize their fitness level. Patients in this phase participate five days a week.
Adult Fitness-Prevention and Maintenance $25.20 per month
This offering is a structured group exercise program designed for mature adults where each person rotates through a variety of machines for a designated period of time. Participants also perform warm-up, strength, cool-down, and stretches as a group. Our staff is a clinical exercise specialist.
