What to bring to a hospital is a typical question. As a general guideline, we strongly encourage you to leave all money, jewelry and other valuables at home, or send them home with someone if you have been brought to us in an emergency. Northern Montana Hospital cannot be responsible or liable for loss or damage to personal belongings. The following list may help you to prepare:
Important papers you MUST have:
- Medical insurance cards
- Photo ID
- Name and address of employer
- Name, address and telephone number of closest family member
- List of all medications (and dosages) that you are currently taking and the last time you took them.
- Advance Directive (Living Will), Durable Power of Attorney, or POLST form.
Your well being is very important to our staff, and we want all of our patients to receive exceptional care. If you would like to write a letter of appreciation to a member of staff or your doctor, you may send it to our Public Relations Department at email@example.com. We'll see that it gets to the right person.
